Walled City Community Partnership Away Day
An 'Away Day' for the members of the Walled City Community Partnership has been organised for:
Date: Thursday 6th October 2011
Visiting: Roscor Youth Village, Lower Lough Erne Co Fermanagh. Meet with Mark Rogers who will lead us on a guided tour around the village. Then we travel to Fermanagh House, Enniskillen to meet with Lauri McCusker to hear of the work of Fermanagh Trust.
Itinerary:
- 9am sharp Leave The Diamond
- 11am Arrive at Roscor Tea/ Coffee. Guided Tour / Q&A Followed by LUNCH
- 2.30pm Enniskillen - Tour of Fermanagh House - presentation and Q&A
- 6pm Arrive at The Diamond
Those interested in attending should contact Gemma or Eamonn to book a place. This visit will be a chance to visit Extern's facility in Fermanagh and a chance to hear from a similar project to our own Partnership in Enniskillen.

As part of the rejuvinated Lunchtime Event series Holywell Trust has organised two events. These events will take place on Thursdays, not Fridays as had previously been the case. The events are:

The workshop if for everyone who belongs to any of:
- Our eleven organisations, and wants to contribute to the discussions.
- The nominated representatives of each of these organisations who form the Board of the New Holywell Trust. There will be a formal Board meeting at the end of the proceedings.
- People from other organisations, which will also be sharing space in the building e.g. F.W.I.N., Teenage Kickz, Dogears Ltd, Still Design...
Aims of the day:
- To reach agreement on the allocation of space within the new building as set out in the draft plans.
- To reach agreement on a name for the building.
- To explore additional ideas for inclusion as part of the new building, e.g. art installations, stained glass windows, etc.
- To compile an inventory of what each organisation is bringing to the building: equipment/resources (each organisation should prepare this in advance).
- To outline all technological and engineering needs for inclusion in final building.
- To express fears and hopes about the project.
- To receive up-to-date information on latest development regarding Garden of Reflection, VAT issues, dates for decanting, possible office space for next two years.
